How to apply.
No wobble, no contact.
Bare, the phone lands on its camera. With the shell on, back down or face down, only the shell touches the table.
Made from castor beans.
PA11 starts as castor oil, pressed from the beans of the castor plant, Ricinus communis. The oil becomes a fine nylon powder, and the shell is printed from that powder: industrial 3D printing with a powder bed printer.
3M tape, pre-applied.
The double-sided 3M tape comes pre-applied. A lot of research went into the pairing: the tape has to hold on the phone's frame and on the printed PA11 equally well. Clean the rim, align, press on. That is the whole install.
