Coinbook is a steel stamping system for storing critical information permanently — from Bitcoin seed phrases to passwords, recovery codes, or any data that must survive time, disaster, and digital failure. It's a mechanical archive.
Step by Step

From blank plates to secure backup.

Everything in the box
01
Unbox
Open the box. Everything is packed and ready to go. The only thing you need is a hammer.
Stamp holder with stamps
02
Prepare the stamps
Empty the box, flip it over, and insert the 35 steel stamps into the QWERTY-labeled holes on the back.
Jig assembled
03
Assemble the jig
Place a blank plate on the jig base. Lock the top part into position — pyramids interlock for precise alignment.
Assembled Coinbook
04
Stamp & assemble
Stack all 5 plates on the base. Tighten the 4 screws with the included Allen key.
Coinbook seal installation
05
Seal it
Thread the Tyvek seal through the slots. Photograph the unique serial number. Any tampering is instantly visible.
Coinbook on magnetic wall mount
06
Mount & hide

01
The stamping jig
A precision tool that locks every character into its exact position. The plate sits on a steel ground plate — the jig top snaps into place with interlocking pyramids.
12-word seed layout
02
12-word seed
Use one side of each plate. 4 words per plate — the word number and up to 8 letters per row. Side B stays blank.
24-word seed layout
03
24-word seed
Use both sides. Words 1–12 on Side A, words 13–24 on Side B. Every position is numbered — nothing to guess.

04
The jig guides every letter
The windows on the jig top show your exact position — one window for the row (which word), one for the column (which letter). You always know where you are.
Stamped plates close-up
05
Middle plates
Use the white numbers on the jig base. Columns 1–2 are for the word position number (01, 02, 03…), columns 1–8 are for the seed phrase word itself.
Cover plate with name
06
Top plate — your info
This info is readable without breaking the seal — so your Coinbook can be returned to you if found. Rotate the plate 90° and use the second set of numbers on the jig to stamp your name and phone number.
5 plates exploded
07
5 plates, one stack
1 black base plate (magnetic mount, not stamped) + 3 seed phrase plates + 1 top plate. Held together by 4 screws.
