01 — Origin

It started with a 3D printer in a dorm room.

In 2020, Aaron co-founded a small product company in Germany. It started as a side project during university — making modular wallets, learning manufacturing, figuring things out along the way.

02 — Journey

Then it was time for something new.

After four years of building, Aaron sold the company and took some time off. Traveled, reset, Now he's starting fresh — a small design studio focused on thoughtfully engineered products.

2020

Started making products in a dorm room with a 3D printer.

2022

The side project grew. Built a small factory, learned CNC milling and industrial 3D printing.

2023

Small team, good products. Things were going well.

2024

Sold the company. Took time to travel and think.

2025

Founded Rau Studio.

2026

Launched Coinbook. The first of hopefully many.

03 — Coinbook

Steel that remembers.

Coinbook is an indestructible stainless steel device for storing seed phrases and critical data. Every detail — from the stamping jig to the packaging — was prototyped, tested, and iterated by hand.
